Concept, guidance and supply of vintage Hi-Fi

Hotel Harry

Having previously been part of the team at The Point Group for many years, it felt like a lovely kind of homecoming to get asked to help with this beautiful refit. The brief was to find something extremely unusual and visually exciting - in as little time as possible. The answer came when trawling through a warehouse in country New South Wales - a collection of legendary Japanese hi-fi brand Sansui, which has been largely missed by the hi-fi hype train. They're beautiful and look like something out of the Communist Party HQ in Paris, which was exactly where I thought this needed to go. Co-Owner and Designer Anna Hewitt agreed. Supereverything helped source a number of other niche decor accoutrements including BBC/Rodgers Monitors and vinyl records. It's nice to remember that at the end of the day, these spaces are here to be listened to and interacted with - so things need to be robust and be loud and all that stuff. This ticks those boxes and is entirely singular. Just like Harry's, really.
